Psychological Preparation

Ratislav Bogdashevsky, the Star City psychologist, briefs the crew on some of the psychological aspects of an intense flight. The Russian psychologists have a very deep understanding of the factors that influence crew dynamics in space, having lead the world in the field for several decades. Russian experience on Mir, and other stations, has helped them fine-tune their method of crew selection and preparation.
