News: HAM Radio in Khayalitsha
posted on May 04, 2002
fais project

The HAM radio event on Friday May 3 was a great success. All of the learners got to ask their questions and could hear Mark's answers clearly. The event was covered live on a number of local and national radio stations. Andre Gaum MEC for the education department Western Cape gave a brief message from the Department of Education. There was a lot of interest from the community radio stations who were broadcasting from the venue which was very exciting, as many people around Khyalitsha had the opportunity to listen in.
